I unfortunately am not going to be on campus for these events you suggested us to go see so I picked the next best thing... Last week on Tuesday, April 12th, 2016 I went to Bridgestone Arena and saw All For The Hall. The show started at 7:30. All for the Hall is benefit concert that Keith Urban and Vince Gill put on every year for The Country Music Hall of Fame. My dad and I go every year together and it is a great way to see all different types of artists from all different genres. It had expectations going into the show because there has been better line ups before so I knew this wouldn't be my favorite but I also love going and love supporting the Country Music Hall of Fame. This years theme was "mashville" and it was a great show. Merle Haggard had just past the week before so a lot of people did Merle Haggard songs which was really neat to see!

As you can imagine there were about every kind of musical instrument that would be used in a normal live performance like this. One that stuck out to me though was Chris Janson killed it on the harmonica... It made me want to go buy a harmonica. Also, Peter Frampton used a voice changer that was very interesting...

Most of the music was country but obviously with some artists like Jason Isbell and Peter Frampton there was rock added into the mix. Also, the difference in the style of country music between like for example Emmy Lou Harris and Florida Georgia Line were completely different. Emmy Lou Harris does not have any rap in her music...

My favorite part was seeing Marren Morris perform "My Church". She is an amazing powerhouse singer and it was the first time she performed for that many people and she killed it. She also sang Dolly Parton's "9 to 5".

The audience loved it! Everyone was on their feet and dancing and singing.

The show was great! Like I said, There has been better show's year past because there has been artists and bands I prefer more but it's a tradition that I go every year and I always have fun.
